Good afternoon Everyone,
I cannot believe an entire year has passed with Club activities! We started the year with our Kickoff Dinner at Pelican Point , Thanksgiving Family Style Dinner at the Italian American Club, a holiday dinner at the Hotel Venezia in December. Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, Fort Myers to see the Buddy Holly Story in late January, a Spring Training game at Cool Today Park - Yankees/Braves was enjoyed in early March and our Spring Picnic at Maxine Barritt Park in April and lastly our lunch at Asaros.
Those who attended enjoyed camaraderie, great food and a lot of fond memories.
MEMBERSHIP DUES 2026
As you are aware, this is the time for membership renewal to the club. At this point in time, we currently have 89 members, Please consider renewing for the upcoming year. We DO NOT send out bills. Without all of you, we would not be able to move forward in our activities. If we wish to keep this club moving forward, we need all of your support.
Membership renewal is $ 25.00 per/person and begins July 1, 2025. YOU may MAIL renewal at any time. Please make check payable to: NJClub and Friends and mail to our Membership Chair,

We are so happy that Trish Miller has agreed to take on the social activities for the upcoming year.
Plans for this upcoming year 2025-2026 include:
August - Friday Dinner at the Italian American Club- more information to come.
October 8th - Kickoff Member Get Together at the SAE Clubhouse in Plantation
November - Veterans' Day Lunch at Landys'. Date to be determined
November - Plans are being made to repeat the Family Thanksgiving Dinner at the Italian American Club
December - Plans are also being made for our Holiday Event in December. We are looking at several venues and will let you know once decided. Also, we are looking at the Venice Symphony Orchestra for their Holiday Show.
January - Fox Lea Farms Royal Lippizzan Stallions in Mayaka City
February - Cool Today Spring Training Game. More details to follow.
March - St. Patty's Day Party at the SAE Clubhouse, Plantation
April - Bob's Train - Bob’s Train is the best kept secret in Sarasota. Hidden away off the main road we keep our little piece of circus history alive. Come aboard the train for lunch and experience what we’re told is the best hamburger in Sarasota.
We will also tour the Sarasota Museum of Art.
We also are planning breakfasts and lunches like those we have had this past year. Also, once we have the 25-26 season schedule for the Venice Theater and Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, we will look at options available. This is your club. We are here to offer opportunities to enjoy each other's company as well as experience new venues that we would not experience on our own. We also depend on you to let us know of anyone who is ill or passed away, or if someone may just need a Thinking of You note. It is so important that our members know they are in our thoughts and prayers.
We thank all of you who have attended our activities this past year and hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe summer and look forward to seeing everyone in July and August for a great Italian Dinners and look forward to seeing everyone at our Kickoff Event!
