I cannot believe September is almost gone!
MEMBERSHIP DUES 2025
We are still accepting membership renewal checks to the club. Please consider renewing for the upcoming year. We DO NOT send out bills. Without all of you, we would not be able to move forward in our activities.

Our September Board Meeting was held on September 20th. We discussed our successful lunch at Sharky's on the Pier, August 27th. Those who attended, had a wonderful lunch in a fantastic setting! The customer service was great!
There was also discussion regarding increasing membership. It is so important to continuously build the club with new individuals who want to participate in fun social activities. One of the key indications of loneliness is lack of social interaction. The club can be a resource to build and support new friendships.
We are planning a great Kickoff Event with the theme of OKTOBERFEST on: Wednesday, October 8, 2025
5:30PM – 7:30PM

Door Prizes
We will be enjoying a variety of appetizers, platters, munchies and some decadent desserts. Cost is only $ 20.00/person. Coffee, water and iced tea will be available but BYOB.
In addition, we are encouraging you to bring a guest. If the guest decides to join that evening, we will deduct $ 20.00 off their membership! This is a great way to attract and involve new members!

October 8th - We will be having our Kickoff Event on October 8th.
November - Lunch at Landy's to celebrate Veterans' Day
Sound Of Music - Venice Theater. We have secured tickets to see the Sound of Music at the Venice Theater on Sunday, November 23rd. at 2:00 pm. If you are interested email me at: dmcl4450@gmail.com. and I will place you on the list.
December - Holiday Dinner will be held at Tuscany in Nokomis on December 4th. Also we are looking at tickets for the Holiday Symphony Performance at the Performing Arts Center in Venice.
January - Fox Lea Farms Royal Lippizzan Stallions in Mayaka City.
February - Cool Today Spring Training Game. More details to follow.
March - St. Patty's Day Party at the SAE Clubhouse
April - Bob's Train - This is the best kept secret in Sarasota. This is a museum that keeps the circus history alive. Come aboard the train for lunch and experience what we're told is the best hamburger in Sarasota.

We also are planning breakfasts and lunches like those we have had this past year. This is your club. We are here to offer opportunities to enjoy each other's company as well as experience new venues that we would not experience on our own.

We also depend on you to let us know of anyone who is ill or passed away, or if someone may just need a Thinking of You note. It is so important that our members know they are in our thoughts and prayers.
