Hello Everyone.
We had a great time watching Herrmann's Royal Lipizzans in Myakka City on January 10th. The weather was perfect. Pictures can be found on our website.

February 12 - Dinner at Tuscany, Nokomis.
Dinner Reservation for February 12, 2026 at Tuscany, Nokomis for a Valentine's Day Dinner. It will be a 3 course dinner at the Early Bird Rate. Coffee/Beverages, tax/gratuity not included.We need to arrive by 5:00PM and order by 5:15 PM to secure the Early Bird Pricing.
We will have our own room and Separate Checks

March 26 - Annie at the Venice Theater. It is on a Saturday and the Performance is at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $ 40.00/person.

April 17 - Bob's Train was cancelled due to Renovations. We will be having lunch at Evie's at The Point in Osprey. More information to follow.

We also are planning breakfasts and lunches like those we have had this past year. This is your club. We are here to offer opportunities to enjoy each other's company as well as experience new venues that we would not experience on our own.

We also depend on you to let us know of anyone who is ill or passed away, or if someone may just need a Thinking of You note. It is so important that our members know they are in our thoughts and prayers.
We are also having elections this year and are welcoming any nominations for President , Vice Presidents and Secretary. Please consider helping to keep the Club moving forward. Each position does not require computer experience. -The Board has worked very hard to keep our Club going. Most of us have made lifelong friendships because of this club. Please consider thinking about a position.
SECTION 3. DUTIES OF OFFICERS
President. It shall be the duty of the President to preside over and conduct all meetings in a dignified manner, maintain order and decorum and at all times further the best interest of the Club. The President shall appoint all committees, either standing or special and shall be virtue of the office be a member exofficio of all committees except the Nominating Committee. The President shall sign all bank drafts in the absence of the Treasurer. The President shall uphold and enforce these by-laws and perform all other duties incident to their position.
1st Vice President. The 1st Vice President shall assist the President in the performance of the duties of that office and in the absence of the President shall perform the duties required by that office. When, in the case of an emergency and, the President is not able to sign checks in the absence of the Treasurer, the Vice President may sign them. The Vice President is also responsible for reserving the meeting place for Board Meetings from September to June. These should be done as far in advance as possible, and the dates and location should be submitted to and approved by the board members.
2nd Vice President. The 2nd Vice President shall assist the 1st Vice President in the performance of the duties of that office and in the absence of the 1st Vice President shall perform the duties required by that office.
Recording Secretary. The Recording Secretary shall keep true and accurate minutes of all meetings and proceedings. The Recording Secretary should conduct all club correspondence as ordered by the President or voted by the members. The Recording Secretary shall preserve the records of the Club and shall discharge all other duties incident to the office.
