We had a wonderful dinner at Tuscany in Nokomis on February,12th. Thank you Lou Piazza for the lovely flowers for all the ladies attending! Pictures can be found on our website.

Mark your Calendars
March 13 - Cool Today Park Spring Training Game, Yankees vs Braves. The club is responsible for having 40 tickets sold. If we do not reach 40, the club will need to pay the difference. So far, 20 tickets have been sold. That means if the 20 additional tickets are not sold, $1560.00 will be deleted from the bank account.
The cost increased by $ 3.00 to $ 78.00 and includes the parking, the buffet and the same seating as last year. If you know of anyone interested in going, please spread the word. Thanks so much for your support to the club!
Spring Game Day at Cool Today Park.
Gate opens at 11:00 am. Lunch Begins at 11:30 am. Game time 1:05 PM
Great DEAL Cost is $ 78.00/person
includes an all you can eat buffet (Burgers (trimmings), Hot Dogs (trimmings)
chips, iced tea, lemonade, water), assigned seats and free parking.
Section 201 which is covered over first base, at Aaron's Porch.

We also are planning breakfasts and lunches like those we have had this past year. This is your club. We are here to offer opportunities to enjoy each other's company as well as experience new venues that we would not experience on our own.

We also depend on you to let us know of anyone who is ill or passed away, or if someone may just need a Thinking of You note. It is so important that our members know they are in our thoughts and prayers.

We are also having elections this year and are welcoming any nominations for President , Vice Presidents and Secretary. Please consider helping to keep the Club moving forward. Each position does not require computer experience. -
NJ Club and Friends is at a Crossroads.The Board has worked very hard to keep our Club going. Most of us have made lifelong friendships because of this club. If members don't step up, we may not be able to keep the club going. Please consider thinking about a position.
SECTION 3. DUTIES OF OFFICERS
President. It shall be the duty of the President to preside over and conduct all meetings in a dignified manner, maintain order and decorum and at all times further the best interest of the Club. The President shall appoint all committees, either standing or special and shall by virtue of the office be a member exofficio of all committees except the Nominating Committee. The President shall sign all bank drafts in the absence of the Treasurer. The President shall uphold and enforce these by-laws and perform all other duties incident to their position.
1st Vice President. The 1st Vice President shall assist the President in the performance of the duties of that office and in the absence of the President shall perform the duties required by that office. When, in the case of an emergency and, the President is not able to sign checks in the absence of the Treasurer, the Vice President may sign them. The Vice President is also responsible for reserving the meeting place for Board Meetings from September to June. These should be done as far in advance as possible, and the dates and location should be submitted to and approved by the board members.
2nd Vice President. The 2nd Vice President shall assist the 1st Vice President in the performance of the duties of that office and in the absence of the 1st Vice President shall perform the duties required by that office.
Recording Secretary. The Recording Secretary shall keep true and accurate minutes of all meetings and proceedings. The Recording Secretary should conduct all club correspondence as ordered by the President or voted by the members. The Recording Secretary shall preserve the records of the Club and shall discharge all other duties incident to the office.
