Happy early St Patrick's Day!
How can it already be the middle of March? Our lunch at Snook Haven is rapidly approaching. We will meet there next Tuesday, March 25th at 11:30 am. If you are not aware, this piece of Venice history will no longer be available after the end of April. They have daily musical entertainment and a boat ride on the Myakka River. They do not take reservations but I can give them a count so that they can expect us. The menu is available online and you will be able to order whatever you wish. On April 10th, we will be having our Annual Picnic. Please note, it has been moved from the North Jetty back to Maxine Barritt Park. This is due to a question of whether the North Jetty will be ready for service due to the hurricane in October. Catering will be by Darrell's Restaurant and entertainment by Rockin Rick. We have always enjoyed the venue here. Cost per person will be $ 20.00/person. Bring your own beverage.
Hours for the picnic are 10:00 am -2:00 pm.

We are always seeking new members and appreciate any efforts to help increase membership. We will be placing ads in the Newcomers Club, Our Lady Of Lourdes Parish, and Venice Mainstreet. In order for the Club to continue, we need to expand our members or there may not be a club. As you know, we try to accomodate activities to members' requests. Our Cool Today Spring Training Game had 42 participants and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. We are open to any ideas
